explanation of Stereo photography, please refer to the following links:
Dr. John Hart's
3-D guidebook provides an in-depth
explanation of taking and viewing 3-D photographs. There is also an
amazing photo gallery. |

Lincoln Group 14ers
_________________________________________________ |
|
7-06-2006 I'm still working on this
one. Photos will be up sometime later.
Over the 4th of July weekend, I hiked
up 3 fourteeners with some friends. Mt. Democrat, Mt. Cameron, and
Mt. Bross, are all connected with relatively high saddles between them.

Open Space Parks in Jefferson County.
I live close to here, so expect this one to be updated from time to time.

Greyrock Mountain
________________________________________________ |
|
In June of 2005, I visited this
mountain just inside the foothills northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Inside the file is my GPS track with
links to a few of the photos I took along the way. Most of the photos are
single-shot, but some are stereo pairs (3-D.)

UPDATE
2008-02-27 It's been a while...
the little kml that I did have up is broken because of... complicated
domain pointing stuff. Greyrock is fixed but that's about it.
Also, the resolution of a lot of the places I was carefully making
overlays for have now vastly improved. (I just need to watch less
TV, and get busy on this.)
7-7-06: I've added a kmz file
for the 14ers I hiked this weekend. I will be adding photos shortly.
As of 3-30-06, I have the two .kmz
files updated, with links to thumbnail-sized photos. The next
thing to expect are gallery pages for the high-res photos and navigation
screens of each park for users without Google Earth. Once I get the
format down, I'll start adding new parks like crazy.
